Beautiful Barn Wedding
Lauren and Joshua’s wedding was stunning in every way, and their pictures from the day really capture that.
Opting for our unique Knutsford wedding venue, the couple decided to host their ceremony in our main room – and what a day it was!
Intimate Wedding Knutsford
The happy couple wanted their day to be intimate and personal, so they opted for a smaller guest list of only 50 people. This decision allowed them to connect and share their joy with their closest friends and family, creating an atmosphere of love and warmth that filled the room.
After heartfelt speeches from both the bride and groom, they decided to add a fun twist to their reception by playing the classic game of Mr & Mrs, which had everyone laughing and guessing the answers to questions about Lauren and Joshua’s relationship.
Unique Wedding Venue in Cheshire
Something that made Lauren and Joshua’s wedding particularly special was the beautiful surroundings of the Cheshire countryside, which made for extra-special photographs.
After the ceremony, the wedding party headed outside for more photographs, and luck was on their side. The clear day meant that the newlyweds could capture plenty of pictures with their bridesmaids and groomsmen in the rustic setting of our grounds. The sage green colour scheme chosen by the couple was perfectly complemented by our unique barn setting – perfect for achieving that timeless feel in their photographs!
Wedding Reception Venue
As the evening progressed, the celebration continued with a night of dancing – starting, of course, with Lauren and Joshua’s first dance! Set against an ambient backdrop of our cosy red brick walls and soft lighting, the pair’s first dance together as a married couple was truly a memorable one.
With the first dance complete, guests were invited to join the happy couple on the dancefloor, where Lauren and Joshua had a carefully curated playlist of their favourite music, with something in there for everyone to enjoy! This meant that most guests had a chance to let loose and enjoy themselves on the dance floor.
A Sparkling Send-Off
As the grand finale of their wedding celebration, Lauren and Joshua chose a sparkler send-off, which was a magical end to their special day. Their guests gathered outside, each holding a sparkler up in the air to create an arch. The couple then walked through the tunnel of shimmering light whilst surrounded by their family and friends, which was a moment to remember for everyone involved.
But, it wasn’t just the fantastic atmosphere that made the newlyweds’ day so special.
Larkspur Lodge stands out among Cheshire wedding venues for its unique charm and rustic elegance. The lodge’s beautiful surroundings provided a stunning setting for their special day, adding an ethereal touch to the already magical atmosphere.
