On Friday 6th June 2025, Anna and Max celebrated their wedding day surrounded by family and friends at Larkspur Lodge. From a relaxed morning of preparations through to a lively evening of music and dancing, their day was filled with thoughtful details and meaningful moments that reflected them perfectly.
A Relaxed Morning In The Loft
Anna began her day in The Loft, where the morning unfolded at a calm and steady pace. With plenty of time for hair, makeup and final preparations, the space provided a comfortable setting as excitement gradually built ahead of the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Max prepared for the day at home, before making his way to the Lodge. From early afternoon, the venue began to welcome guests, with the bar area becoming a natural meeting point as friends and family gathered ahead of the ceremony.
A Meaningful Ceremony With Personal Touches
Guests arrived from 1pm and were welcomed into the bar area for drinks before being invited through to the ceremony room. At 1:15pm, the ceremony was announced, and anticipation began to build.
Before the ceremony, Anna was collected from The Loft, ready for her big entrance. The ceremony began at 1:30pm, led by celebrant Emma Parker. Anna was escorted down the aisle by her father, Andrew, following her bridesmaids and maid of honour, Becca.

One of the most touching moments came as the bridesmaids each carried a single flower down the aisle, placing them on a memory chair before the ceremony began. This thoughtful gesture added a deeply personal element to the setting.
Music played an important role throughout the ceremony. Violinist Joel Grainger performed live, while Anna and Max also incorporated their own playlist. Guests joined in for a singalong to “Unwritten” before the ceremony concluded with “Adore U,” creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere as the couple made their exit.
Drinks, Music And Time Together
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception lasting around an hour and a half. The violinist continued to play, and with music permitted outside, the celebrations extended onto our lawn.

There was a natural flow to this part of the day, with guests spending time catching up whilst Anna and Max stepped away for photography by The Bride Tribe and videography from Richardson Video. A confetti moment on the lawn marked a special highlight, whilst garden games including beer pong and darts added a fun and informal touch to the afternoon.
A Lively Wedding Breakfast
At 3:45pm, guests were invited to take their seats for the wedding breakfast catered by Fork & Field. Once everyone was settled, Anna and Max were announced into the room as the new Mr and Mrs, with guests on their feet waving napkins in celebration as “Believe” played.
Speeches followed shortly after, beginning with Anna and continuing with Max, maid of honour Rebecca, Anna’s father Andrew and best man Jake. This part of the day brought a mix of laughter and heartfelt moments, setting the tone for the meal to follow.
From 4:30pm, the wedding breakfast was served. The room featured a sweetheart top table alongside rustic wooden tables, with florals provided by Knutsford Bloom and a neon sign adding a modern focal point. Music from the couple’s own playlist played in the background, creating a relaxed and welcoming dining atmosphere.
Transition To The Evening Celebrations
At 6:15pm, guests were invited back into the bar area while the room was prepared for the evening reception. This transition allowed the space to be reset, ready for the next part of the celebrations.
Evening guests began arriving from 7pm, bringing a fresh wave of energy as the atmosphere shifted towards a party setting.
Music, Dancing And A Vibrant Evening
The evening entertainment was led by live band The Wilde Ones, who performed two sets across the night. Their music quickly filled the dancefloor, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.
At 8pm, Anna and Max shared their first dance, a special moment that marked the start of the evening celebrations. From there, the dancefloor remained busy as guests joined in and the party continued.

Additional touches, including a blondie and brownie tower displayed for guests, added to the evening experience, while the celebration carried on with music into the night.
A Wonderful Day At Larkspur Lodge
Anna and Max’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of their personalities, combining meaningful moments with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. From the thoughtful details in their ceremony to the lively celebrations in the evening, their day flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
It was a pleasure for us at Larkspur Lodge to host their wedding and help bring their plans to life, creating a day for them and their guests to remember.
