Kirsty & Rob’s Wedding at Larkspur Lodge

On Saturday, 14th June 2025, Larkspur Lodge had the pleasure of hosting the unforgettable wedding of Kirsty and Rob. Their day was a beautiful blend of alternative style, deep romance, and relaxed celebration - all unfolding within the rustic charm of our Knutsford wedding venue. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that their wedding was going to be uniquely personal, full of character, and crafted with genuine love.

A calm morning and effortless style

Kirsty began her morning in The Loft, our serene on-site preparation room. With natural light pouring in and plenty of space for those special getting-ready moments, it offered the perfect setting for an unhurried, joyful start to the day.

She looked breathtaking in a sleek, white gown with a plunging neckline, the perfect contrast to her beautifully detailed tattoo work. Her hair was styled with a classic bow, a soft and elegant touch that paired beautifully with her cascading bouquet of white, blush, and warm, earthy tones.

Rob prepared at home before arriving at our Cheshire wedding venue. His modern, relaxed outfit featured a dark, effortless jacket and trousers with a crisp white shirt. Together, they looked absolutely striking and matched the vibes of their big day perfectly.

A playful personal touch that we loved was Kirsty’s iconic green frog clogs. It’s details like this that make a wedding feel truly reflective of the couple behind it.

A ceremony in the glow of candlelight

Guests began arriving shortly after lunchtime, gathering in the bar area before making their way into our dramatic Ceremony Room. This unique space was transformed beautifully through the couple’s choice of styling.

Hannah Elizabeth Flowers dressed the room with warm, organic arrangements featuring creams, whites and soft peachy tones, perfectly complemented by plenty of natural foliage. The “Lit With Love” package brought a soft, romantic glow to the room through church candles in tall glass cylinders, paired with the warm ambience of our Edison light bar.

When Kirsty entered the ceremony, escorted by her stepdad and accompanied by her bridesmaids in rust-toned satin dresses, the room came truly alive with emotion. The palette of warm copper, blush and cream looked stunning against our exposed brick and atmospheric lighting.

With their nearest and dearest gathered around them, the ceremony was heartfelt, intimate and full of meaning.

Celebrations at The Lodge

After the ceremony, guests stepped outside for relaxed drinks and to enjoy the early afternoon atmosphere. Aimee Rose Weddings captured everything from candid laughter to quiet, tender moments between the newlyweds. The blend of moody, romantic vibes and documentary-style photography showcased the pair’s wedding aesthetic beautifully.

Inside the Lodge, the room was being prepared for the wedding breakfast, complete with long tables dressed in crisp white linens and styled with candles and foliage. 

The Lodge’s soft lighting and brick walls complemented the couple’s venue styling perfectly, the ideal canvas for their wedding breakfast and evening reception.

Once guests were seated, Kirsty and Rob were joyfully welcomed into the room as the new Mr and Mrs. 

The atmosphere was warm and full of excitement as everyone settled in for a delicious meal served by the talented Fork and Field Catering team.

Tables were styled with Hannah Elizabeth Flowers’ centrepieces, a continuation of the romantic, earthy tones from the ceremony. The combination of long tables, exposed red brick and candlelight created an incredible dining ambience that felt relaxed yet elegant.

After the meal, it was time for speeches full of heartfelt words, lots of laughter and a few tears. We love seeing our couples soak up these precious moments surrounded by their loved ones.

Evening transformation

As the late afternoon moved into evening, guests made their way into the bar and lounge so our team could transform the Lodge Room for the night’s celebrations. In just 45 minutes, the space shifted from a romantic dining setting into a party atmosphere.

A night filled with music, dancing and joy

Evening entertainment was provided by Hipswing, whose DJ set brought incredible energy to the room. All musicians and DJs at Larkspur Lodge plug into our in-house PA system, ensuring seamless sound quality and a perfect fit with the venue’s acoustics. With the chandeliers glowing above, the dancefloor was full from the moment the music began.

After the cutting of the cake and the first dance, the night’s celebrations continued with plenty of laughter, dancing and fun moments.

A perfect end to a truly unique celebration

As the celebrations drew to a close, Kirsty and Rob’s day ended just as beautifully as it began. Their wedding at Larkspur Lodge was a stunning reflection of who they are as a couple. Stylish, romantic, warm, and wonderfully individual.

From the rust-toned bridesmaids and candlelit ceremony to the heartfelt speeches and upbeat evening party, every moment felt true to them. It was a joy for our team to support and celebrate such an unforgettable day.
